Before launch
Makeborne is preparing to launch. No launch date is promised. Creation subscriptions and credit-pack checkout remain closed while the service is being qualified. There is no free trial or paid prelaunch reservation. Viewing the app or these terms does not start billing.
When your subscription starts
When creation subscriptions open, your paid access period starts with your verified purchase. The checkout shows your selected plan, monthly or yearly interval, total payable and renewal terms before payment. Credits become available only after payment and ownership are verified.
Yearly prices
Standard yearly pricing is 20% below twelve standard monthly payments. A yearly subscription is billed for the full year upfront, not in monthly installments. Prices are in US dollars; applicable taxes and checkout fees are shown by Whop before payment.
Refund policy
You can ask for a refund of a payment, a monthly or yearly subscription payment or a credit pack, while none of the credits that payment supplied have been used. Eligibility is decided per payment. Credits are used in a fixed order: those expiring soonest first, then plan, trial, pack, adjustment and refund credits, so a newer payment can stay refundable after older credits are used. Work in progress that has reserved a payment's credits pauses the decision until it finishes; reserved credits that are returned do not count as used. When a refund is approved, that payment's unused credits are removed and, for a subscription payment, creation access for that billing period ends; cancel your membership in Whop if you do not want it to renew. We do not offer voluntary partial refunds or refunds after a payment's credits were used. For a yearly payment, using any of its monthly credit allocations makes that yearly payment ineligible for a voluntary refund; unused future months do not qualify for a partial refund. This policy does not exclude mandatory withdrawal rights, remedies for services that are not supplied or are materially misdescribed, payment-error corrections, or the right to dispute a charge. It does not change the terms of a purchase already made.
Billing problems and statutory rights
For access problems or refund requests, contact admin@makeborne.com with your Whop payment reference, or use the support options on your Whop receipt. Do not send card details. Support checks that payment's credit use, holds its unused credits so they cannot be spent while the refund is processed, and issues the refund through Whop; there is no automatic refund button. If you dispute a charge with your bank, that payment's unused credits are held until the dispute is resolved, and a dispute decided against Makeborne ends creation access for that billing period. Any legally required immediate-delivery consent or withdrawal-right acknowledgment must be collected separately at checkout; merely accepting these terms does not waive those rights.
Credits and annual plans
Create includes 300 credits, Studio 750, and Scale 1,550 per month of access. Annual plans release credits monthly; they do not issue all twelve allocations upfront. Unused included credits remain available for two months after their allocation month ends, then expire. The credits expiring soonest are used first. This does not restore credits that had already expired before the rollover policy took effect. Credits are usage allowances, not cash, and cannot be withdrawn or transferred. A credit is not a fixed number of pages, images or slides. Generation estimates show the maximum credits before you approve work. Delivered partial work and reviews can use credits even when more work remains. Reserved credits are reconciled against the recorded result and usage; that is separate from a cash refund.
Automatic renewal and cancellation
Monthly subscriptions renew monthly and yearly subscriptions renew yearly at the selected plan price until canceled. Cancel through your Whop account before the next renewal to stop future charges. Cancellation preserves access through the paid term and does not itself request a refund. Any future price changes will be disclosed before they apply.
Separate support purchases
Buy us a coffee is a separate US$1 monthly support subscription. It does not include creation access or credits and is not required to subscribe to a creation plan.
